IASR Journal of Agriculture and Life Sciences (IJALS) maintains a strict policy against plagiarism to ensure the originality and integrity of published research. All submitted manuscripts must be the authors’ original work and should not contain copied, manipulated, or improperly cited content from other sources.
All manuscripts submitted to IJALS are screened for plagiarism using standard plagiarism detection tools. A similarity index of more than 15% (excluding references) may result in rejection, request for revision, or further investigation, depending on the extent and nature of overlap.
Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, or unethical reuse of content, is considered serious misconduct. In confirmed cases of plagiarism, the journal may reject the manuscript, retract published articles, notify authors’ institutions, and restrict future submissions, following established ethical guidelines.
